From 10 August to 10 October 2008 the Stari Grad museum on Hvar showed ukiyo-e prints from the Akinsha collection, under the title "Ukiyo-e / Pictures of the Floating World", organised by Dr Tonči Tadić for the society together with the Embassy of Japan.
The President of Croatia visited the exhibition on 16 August 2008.
