On 24 October 2024 the society bid farewell to the Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Croatia, H.E. Masato Iso, at the close of his term in Zagreb.
Throughout his posting the Ambassador supported the society's work and took part in many of its events, from anniversaries of diplomatic relations to projects in the Japanese garden in Zagreb.
