The Japanese garden project at Bundek in Zagreb is coordinated by the society. Its president, Ivan Slade Šilović, invited Japanese-linked companies operating in Croatia to join the project and help complete the first Japanese garden in Zagreb.
Alongside JTI, a long-standing supporter, Toyota joined the project this year. The expansion on 5 March 2020 was attended by the Ambassador of Japan and the Mayor of Zagreb.
