The 30th anniversary of the friendship between Zagreb and Kyoto was marked at the Embassy of Japan in Zagreb on 22 October 2021, in the presence of the Mayor of Zagreb.
The link between the two cities is one of the longest-standing connections between Croatia and Japan.
